The light at the end of the tunnel is such a cliche', however it is important to believe in such light. Believe that there is a new future, believe that there is the sun right after the darkness, believe that there will be a turn in your life. I definitely feel like these sentences are said over and over but no one really pays attention to the meaning of them. Believing in something is the key for it to exist, Believe in your light and you will get to it, believe in no light and you will walk in your dark tunnel forever.
I believe in my light and I have many surprises to show you soon. Today's outfit is a bit underground and a bit chic. I got these pants for a really good price (15 Euro) and I definitely wear them more than I am supposed to lately. In addition, I wore this amazing fringed bag that gives the perfect dynamic touch to my easy and casual look. Say what you think...

I haven't really showed you my city or at least a part of my city before and I will take the opportunity to do so with this post. This is one of the most peaceful corners in Bari: windy and full of natural noises, yet so infinite. On those white rocks, you feel so isolated by the daily chaos, that you forget you are actually in the city, surrounded by buildings, cars, people, and most of all, problems. Seriously, life CAN slow down when you are not put in the middle of daily routines. It only takes a few minutes of walk and you could escape your life for a little. Who wouldn't want to escape? I mean problems trail our life uninterruptedly and sometimes we tend to forget who is the real pilot. We need to find our inner peace, maybe stop sometimes, and enjoy freedom. We were born free, so why let the problems take that away from us? Never chain yourself to the jails you create. I would recommend everyone to find a place like the one in the photos. There has to be a place that creates similar feelings, feelings of freedom, in every city. Find it and you will find your salvation, at least for a few hours!
Coming to today's outfit, I always leave this for last because I let the photos tell you about it for me. I prefer telling you my thoughts and story first. I chose a monochrome combo: I love how black and grey create that elegant yet boyish look. To give it a little color, I decided to wear a green clutch that I paired with a gold chain. Sometimes, it feels good to suit up like a boy!

Hello guys! Three days ago was the first anniversary of The Frugal Mix. So many things have changed in a year of blogging. I have to realize I haven't spent enough time working on my blog, but I am quite satisfied with the direction the blog is taking. In one year, I moved from the United States to Italy; I saw people walking in and out of my life; I temporarily had to suspend college; I had three different photographers; I learned the basics of "html" and internet marketing on my own; Who would have thought a year ago that I would have been in my house in Italy writing this post! I could have given up a long time ago because maybe I am not getting the results I wanted immediately, but I didn't. I have good expectations for this year! I will keep working hard because I know I will have my satisfactions in the end, my successful end. Cheers The Frugal Mix! To a new and exciting year!
A few more words about my perfect fringe jacket that is a must for spring. This season we will see fringe, fringe, and fringe everywhere! Kisses guys!

Hey Guys, Happy New Year! Wish you all a great 2015 with many opportunities on your way. I was not able to write a post during the holidays because here in Italy winter holidays take over a few weeks of your life starting from the 24th of December and ending around the 6th of January. It is not a secret that Italians love to celebrate: any day is an opportunity to eat, laugh, drink, dance, and play card games. Well, as a perfect Italian, this is all I have done during the holidays! Today's post is about my fur coat (not real fur of course!!!) that in these days of winter is perfect for a casual, comfy, chic look.
