Life is Full of Colour

"[...] it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst [...]" (American Beauty, 1999)

What a great quote for a great movie. You all know what I’m talking about, right? Take these graffiti. They are art, thoughts, and beauty publicly put out there. Back at the time when frescos were populating our churches and palaces, these graffiti would have been considered fine art. Back at the time when posters were the new art trend, these graffiti would have meant something. But now, they are a type of vandalism.

Times are changing and the more we get swallowed by our lives, the more we become strangers to the world. All the things that surround us, each with a specific function to make the system flow, are part of what we call “beauty”. Again, there is so much beauty in the world and we are not there to notice it. Trees, streets, walls, lights, animals, colors, music, food, cars, buildings, everything is part of a system that works only because of its perfect imperfection. Nothing is perfect, but everything is meant to fit like a puzzle piece in the system. Isn’t this beautiful? Yes, our world is beautiful. So what is our position in front of all of this? Our position is to be aware and take the parts of all the beauty that surrounds us to make the system flow, and to make us, human beings, flow with it. Have a great day!
