The light at the end of the tunnel is such a cliche', however it is important to believe in such light. Believe that there is a new future, believe that there is the sun right after the darkness, believe that there will be a turn in your life. I definitely feel like these sentences are said over and over but no one really pays attention to the meaning of them. Believing in something is the key for it to exist, Believe in your light and you will get to it, believe in no light and you will walk in your dark tunnel forever.
I believe in my light and I have many surprises to show you soon. Today's outfit is a bit underground and a bit chic. I got these pants for a really good price (15 Euro) and I definitely wear them more than I am supposed to lately. In addition, I wore this amazing fringed bag that gives the perfect dynamic touch to my easy and casual look. Say what you think...

Coachella is a three-day annual music and arts festival held in the Coachella Valley in California. It was founded in 1999 by Paul Tollett, right after the disastrous '99 Woodstock. The lucky people who are able to attend this fest are exposed to many great genres of music, including rock, indie, hip hop, and electronic dance music, as well as to suggestive art installations and sculptures. Everyone who attends Coachella wears his or her "festival look", that is usually a mix of country, 70s, and bohemian styles. People create their looks days before the event because they are such a big deal, as they are part of the whole festival environment. For more inside info about Coachella, here is the
link to their website.
So, if I were at Coachella, I would wear something simple like this. I love the combination of lilac, black and gold. The backpack is of course one important touch for festival life. Wish I was really there, but hey I am only 20 and I have many years ahead of me. Who knows what will happen in a few years...

It's great how fashion changes along with the seasons. Each season has its colors, vibes and feelings. For instance, Spring has always given me the feeling of "revival". Plants, animals, and even people wake up in this season. Don't you guys notice all the great energy that surrounds us around this period? Go to a park, a bar, by the sea, go hiking, walk your dog, or just do anything that will attract all the positive vibes out there. This is the time to come out of your winter shell and feel the new and motivating energy. Again, as seasons change so does fashion with all new colors, shapes and textures. Indeed, with my colorful Peruvian cardigan let's welcome the new season: "Hello Spring!"

Hello guys, Spring has begun and I am super excited about it! Don't you guys love the way everything changes in Spring? It feels like all that surrounds us starts waking up and preparing for the summer explosion. Notice all the flowers, the colors and the different light that begin being part of our lives and - of course - of fashion as well. I am happy to get started with this new season and I can't wait to see what's next.
Coming to today's article, I would like to talk about vintage. I cannot stress this enough, old is the future! Making a thirty year old pair of jeans fit like a new one is the only skill you need for vintage looks. Here I have the recipe to improve such skill: go to vintage markets, search in your grandparents' closets or even in your parents', look for a good old piece, wear it as if it was new, and combine it with modern clothes. You won't be disappointed, I promise! So, what do you guys think about the vintage market? Is it worth it or you prefer new clothes?

I would like to begin this post with this statement: fashion is a game with no rules, wins whoever puts most of his own in it.
Let's take into consideration all the restraining rules that in the early 1900s forced women to wear only long and puffy dresses with huge hats. Do you remember who began wearing pants, riding-boots and man shirts at that time? Of course you do, Coco Chanel! Well. by breaking the rules she created not only one of the most successful brands in the fashion industry, but a new trend that launched women's fashion in a new era! Let's say it clearly, if it wasn't for her, who knows how long it would have taken for us to wear pants!!!
What about all the skin we show or the boyish looks we are able to wear because of today's fashion? Only fifty years ago, we would have been considered crazy. Why? Because it would have meant breaking society's rules, therefore also the rules of fashion.
Another rule of fashion that we thought was unbearable is the blue/black or the brown/black combo. Well, these "strange" combos have been reevaluated by many fashion designers (you should check out the
Fendi,
Balenciaga, or
Alexander Wang AW 2014/15 collections!). We are all in need for freedom, to go beyond the standards and beyond the rules. And as society is in need for these values, fashion it is as well. With this I am happy to tell you that you can wear whatever you feel it is right to wear because, again, fashion has no rules! I mean, I wore black and blue, is that bad?!?
